Only one correction: I didn&#039;t start out as &quot;Matt Bernstein&quot; at all -- in fact, all three of my names are chosen (not given, that is) -- I did start out with some Jewish last name, and I didn&#039;t want to change a name obviously Jewish to one with no apparent Jewishness, because often people don&#039;t read me as Jewish at all (assimilation, darling), so I chose one that may or may not have been the name of many of my ancestors...</description>
