Two Lane Blacktop

It’s difficult to write about Two Lane Blacktop, a lost classic about the yearning for youth and youth’s disdain for itself. The movie contains so many conversations with itself and its generation, though there’s virtually no dialogue, that statements on the film’s beauty or meaning seem out of place. It takes someone obsessed with the film to do it justice. Enter The Phil Nugent Experience. (via Susie Bright)
