So often talented, prominent authors reveal that "writing" is their sole talent, at least in terms of being mildly fascinating in interviews or whenever using the spoken word. This woman is a delightful exception - refreshing person to hear, as well as to read. I enjoy her engaging personality and humor as much in viewing her and listening, as much as reading her outstanding offerings.

This is one fascinating woman, love her style. Every word I've read of hers was really quite captivating. Thank you Mary!

Nice to see Mary’s smiling face again. I first met Mary 10 years ago when she was doing pieces for Omni and Discovery Magazines. Back then, I dismissively never read any of her pieces, assuming she was technical not hysterical. Then I read Stiff. God, she’s funny. David Sedaris in a morgue. Funnier, actually. Mary Roach in a morgue. Morticia Addams in Ann Taylor slacks. Mary is a laugh out loud writer that deserves as wide an audience as any humorist working today.
