I just read or rather devoured Let The Great World Spin. I loved the book, it was the first work I've read by Colum MCCann. Your interview with him helped me to see it in a different perspective. Last summer I saw Man on Wire and just was mezmerized by the Phillip Petit and when I saw Let the Great World Spin I thought it was going to be more of Petit's walk across the Twin Towers, but it was New York in the 1970's. What a great book and great interview.
