		<description>Well, he&#039;s right that many people who can get into college never seriously consider an alternative future in the trades, and that is a shame. And yes, the trades deserve more respect than they get. I&#039;m sure there&#039;s a lot of untapped talent in this regard in offices around the country.

But seriously? Just because it didn&#039;t work out for him doesn&#039;t mean that all white-collar work is inherently soul-crushing. I know a lot of people whose &quot;white-collar&quot; work amply provides them with a sense of passion and agency.</description>
