“Brillo 5, a work of art by Gavin Turk, will be auctioned off at Christie’s postwar and contemporary art sale on September 23.

“Christie’s describes the piece of art as ‘an ironic and ambiguous work that is essentially a copy of a cardboard box.’” Call it what you will (I know what I call it), Brillo 5 is expected to sell for $30,000. Flavorwire presents “10 of the city’s most underrated (and valuable) cardboard boxes.”
