Meanwhile, our sister-site, HTMLGIANT (I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I like saying it. They said it first) has begun selling ads in an effort to pay their writers.

We’re looking into selling ads on The Rumpus as well. Today we’re experimenting with an for our favorite publisher (biased? yes) Graywolf Press. They’re not paying for the ad, but we’re getting a sense for how it might look. What do you think?

Looks fine. But please. Please please please no ads that dance or talk or make noise or drive around. Not that you would.

  2. Pete Says:

Graywolf is classy. As long as you only have advertisers of similar high quality, full steam ahead.

it’s fine. unobtrusive & fits with the site ie., it’s not selling vaginal rejuvenation, hair transplants or viagra.
