Since I’m already on the intersections between religion and sci-fi track, might as well link to Overthinking It’s discussion of the religious subtext in Tron.

This isn’t sci-fi, but I’m sure there are people who wish it were. The cryonically frozen head of baseball great Ted Williams was, well, abused with a monkey wrench while attempting to remove a tuna can from the base. I wish I was imaginative enough to make something like that up.
