Wonderful feed back thanks to all. I also think JT added a lot of insight and perspective to our series. He was remarkably open and a joy to shoot.

Zoey, I have that quote pinned to my work board in my office. I got it out of a book my father loved called How I Believe by the french philosopher Pierre DeChardin but I have heard it before so who knows if he wrote it or merely repeated it. Either way, I am finding it more and more apparently true as I live on and meet so many amazing human beings. What connects us is as elemental as atoms and the space that surrounds them and it is as undeniable.

JT was a pleasure to shoot, clearly.

I look forward to our next project. Antonia's ability to bring recognize and bring out the essential qualities of each person we work with is amazing to me and her skill grows ten fold with each interview. She's my inspiration.

Great interview. This guy is incredibly perceptive. Its refreshing to hear someone talk about the level of denial in the business. Usually, you hear the same cliches again and again. JT really has some insight.

JT has a beautiful soul that shines thru to those lucky enough to get to know him. I learned more about him thru this interview and Antonia has worked her magic again. As far as the interracial porn information: its sad but true words. I think it was 5 months into the industry that I did my first interracial scene and I was met with questions as to why. Let me only say that in my mind we are all made of the same physical components, some with bigger hearts and minds than others of course, but come on. One of my favorite quotes is, we are not human beings having a spiritual life, WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS HAVING A HUMAN LIFE. If more "people" belived this, what a different world this COULD be.
Thank you JT for opening up and shining your beautiful light.

Wow lovely... you were able to draw out the introvert. As a writer
I suppose you could relate to hiding behind a screen even in an industry that puts you on front street. I could so relate to his family's expectations. I used to practice peeling and sewing grapes so I could be a neurosurgeon when I grew up. It's painful and fragile and sweet to see this side of people's lives. And the hierarchy bit blew me a way I would've never known. I'm smarter now. Thanks

The stigma of interracial sex, and it only actually applying to black men is pretty interesting. I see it mainstream advertising as well. When I see ads on the subway with interracial couples (black man, white woman) I'm always aware that the demographic they're aiming for is black men, for some of the cognac ads for instance. The white male majority are never marketed to that way, and rarely even with a black woman, unless she's light enough and fine featured enough to pass - not *really* black, in other words.

You'd think that at the very least, in the subculture of porn, we'd be beyond that, but apparently not. Thanks for the article. Pretty interesting. And thanks for getting JT on camera, not to hard on the eyes, not to hard at all.
