For so many kids today, it's all about the prequels (the pre-logy?) and mop-topped Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader -- a shrewd move by Lucas to put that kid in the "first" movie in the cycle, but also a sadly mercenary one. One of the cable channels was showing episodes IV-VI (aka Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi) this weekend, but I held off because I knew there would be too many commercials. But here's hoping that I can pick up an un-remastered version to properly introduce him to Luke, Leia, Han, Chewy and the rest. I recently rewatched the trilogy with my wife, who had somehow never seen them (and I had somehow married her!). Her reaction: "There are two types of men in the world: those who are Han Solos, and those who wear Han Solo shirts." This was great.
