"Fucking goes with cigarettes too, I think."

It would be hard to fuck while smoking, however. Someone could get burned. And heaving breathing usually accompanies sex, but with a cigarette in your mouth, you'd have trouble breathing heavily.

The author is just being cute, right, when she says this? And the interviewer is just being cute too. Sheesh. I had this literary shit.

Good to have this conversation [FUCKING & WRITING] started, again. It's a topic that springs up here, there, on the record, off, flares and fades, throws a little light, scorches a blossom here, a Benjamin there, beds down for a snooze and casting its dreams into other heads, hearts, leaving its impressions in our psyches as a pair of bare buttocks leaves its impression among tangled sheets at the edge of a bed quickly morphing into sheets in a typewriter, sheets in a printer, sheets in a newly bound book. Followed, as here, by interview w/author, etc.
All things considered, quite a rumpus.
