Andrew Leland, managing editor of The Believer, has reviewed Matt Stewart’s The French Revolution. Stewart, you may remember, originally published his novel on Twitter last year. (via @elittl)

Update: If you haven’t already, be sure to catch Mr. Leland on Rumpus Radio.

  1. Maureen Miller Says:

Matt Stewart, former editor for the one true Rumpus (www.yalerumpus.com)?

  2. Isaac Fitzgerald Says:

While I must disagree with your “one true Rumpus” sentiment Maureen (clearly I’m biased), yes, that’s the Matt Stewart we’re talking about. Cool, huh?

  3. Matt Stewart Says:

I have a steep and happy history in Rumpusizing. This Rumpus definitely has its shit together better today, with an alarmingly fantastic growth rate. That said, I once got away with an opening line in the Yale Rumpus that said a pizza joint was “harder to get into than a nun with a yeast infection,” which turned out to be our top recruiting tool for several years. Both are true Rumpuses, and wonderful.
