Yesterday Vice President Omar Suleiman, who could very possibly succeed Hosni Mubarak as Egypt’s ruler, said that “foreign agents” might have instigated the demonstration, infantalizing the people he’s supposed to represent and unleashing pro-government thugs on journalists and foreigners.
