Just started listening. I can already tell it’s going to be really good and intimate in a way few other interviews are. This is a good movie to whisper about.

This was great. It made me want to believe improbable things are more possible than they are, or that hard work and vision can amount to something. I loved it when someone was playing with their money, and you could hear coins dropping and rolling on the table and spinning around, and the sound of someone’s hand trying to stop them. And I love the idea of an alternate cut titled Valentine, the story of love that ends with a wedding. And this: “We needed to build something beautiful, and now we need to tear it down.”

I haven’t seen the movie yet. I think I’m scared. You know, that it will be so good and leave me so hollow. But after listening to this great interview, screw it, there’s not much I can do but succumb to the blue.

Just saw the movie tonight. It was brilliant, as is this interview. And it is totally adorable that you two were so comfortable with each other that you forgot about the microphone and one of you started spinning a penny on the table next to it.
