We mentioned the new site Tits and Sass earlier today, and already they are posting great articles, like this conversation between Bettie, a dominatrix, and her mother, a preacher.

Bettie’s mother says, “I understand that on some levels I am very prudish when it comes to relationships. So, the other sides of my personality get to live vicariously through you!” The two discuss what they think it means to be supportive, why sex work isn’t against their religion, and what her mother’s sex worker name would be.

The Rumpus.net is an online magazine focused on culture, as opposed to "pop culture." Pop culture can be hard to define and the term means different things to different people. Basically, we're not opposed to things that are popular, but we have no interest in "art" created by marketing executives.
