Hey, We Do This Too

We’re not the only ones out there curious to know where and writers write and why.

This week the Chicago Tribune spoke to bestselling and award winning authors to get the lowdown on the digs most conducive to consistent, contended writing. There are procrastination tidbits and the list is split between typing and good ol’ pencils, one vs. seven cups of coffee, but in the end, the writers in this eclectic handful look for essentially the same thing:

“They want quiet. They want solitude. Often they want a legal pad.” Also, only minimal nod to cigarettes.
