		<description><![CDATA[It is so very refreshing to see this movie getting some attention after its 2005 DVD issue. I&#039;m not sure the movie was ever outright &quot;banned&quot; in the U.S. or if it just wasn&#039;t wasn&#039;t exhibited over here after short-term engagements, but the end result is the same. Watkins had explored the actors as participatory docudrama players as early as &#039;64 in &quot;Culloden,&quot; and his 1969 &quot;Gladiators&quot;--war as TV entertainment--retains every bit of bite that &quot;Punishment Park&quot; does. He&#039;s a director very ripe for ongoing rediscovery. Kudos.]]></description>
