Get Out of My Crotch

By

Cherry Bomb Books (a forthcoming imprint of Bona Fide Books) is seeking writers for a nonfiction collection tentatively titled Get Out of My Crotch, a response to the current legislation and language concerning women’s health, including reproductive health but also their general health and well-being.

Contributors include Roxane Gay, Katha Pollitt, Lola McClure (author of Ask an Abortion Provider column on The Hairpin), Rebecca Cohen (creator of The Adventures of Gyno-Star), and Lidia Yuknavitch, writing about topics ranging from choice to the Violence Against Women Act reauthorization. Memoir, analysis, or well-crafted rants welcome; previously published work considered.

The collection will publish on the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, January 2013, so please contact co-editors Kim Wyatt or Sari Botton at editor@bonafidebooks.com at your earliest convenience.
