In August, we donated $2 from every new Letters For Kids subscription to our favorite non-profit tutoring center, 826. We’re doing the same thing throughout September, the end of which is fast approaching.
826 started in San Francisco with a pirate supply store at 826 Valencia. Now there are chapters all over the U.S. including a Time Travel Mart in Los Angeles, a Superhero Supply Store in New York, and a Boring Store in Chicago.
Letters For Kids is a print subscription, just like Letters In The Mail, for children six and up. The letters are written by mid-grade and young adult authors, folded, put in an envelope, stamped, and mailed via the U.S. Post Office. For more information on Letters For Kids go here.
