Congratulations!

Scroll down to the most recent Rumpus Sunday Interview, the one where Sunday Editor Gina Frangello writes “I was going to use the word “genius,” but maybe that’s not quite right for a man who spends seventeen years honing one brilliant book.”

See that guy? He just won a MacArthur Genius grant. Get interviewed for The Rumpus, have the interviewer hesitate over the word “genius,” win a MacArthur. That’s how I’m seeing it anyway.

Congratulations to Junot Diaz and all the other MacArthur Genius grant winners this year!
