New T. S. Eliot Papers To Be Revealed

By

If you enjoyed reading about T. S. Eliot’s first wife, Vivienne, in Rumpus interviewee Kate Zambreno’s book Heroines, you might be interested to know that Eliot’s second wife, Valerie, recently passed away at the age of 86.

Biographers will have access to certain materials for the first time, so we’re likely to see books with new insights into Eliot’s tortured marriage to Vivienne, as well as into subjects like his friendship with Ezra Pound and the two (probably platonic) relationships he had before his second marriage.
