Classics Made Modern

At The Literarian, Madeline Miller has a great compilation of five classic novels with their parallel modern takes.

She’s included March by Geraldine Brooks, which is a reinvention of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, except it is written from the perspective of the Alcotts’ absent father. He’s not exactly Amos but the depiction is deft.
