The East Coast and the West Coast have had their spats, but in the end, our respective lit scenes form one big, happy, bicoastal family, right? Right?!

A summary: the Los Angeles Review of Books is challenging the New York Review of Books‘s supremacy, and, to Marc Tracy at least, “it is difficult not to side with…the LARB in their broader project.”
