    The Rumpus and HTMLGIANT present ONE YEAR LATER, a celebration of the first anniversary of The Rumpus, on January 21, 2010.

    The night will feature readings by Rivka Galchen, Tao Lin, Deb Olin Unferth, Justin Taylor and Stephen Elliott, musical guests Alina Simone, Diane Louvel, and just added, Jeffrey Lewis. With special guest DJ Khaela Maricich of The Blow and video art installation by Monofonus.

    Hard to believe it’s only been a year. The Rumpus has come a long way since its demure beginnings, and it’s only growing stronger. We find it appropriate to celebrate our fitness for survival in the age of the interwebs and to kick off a great new year with an evening of literary and musical offerings in grand Rumpus style.

    The multimedia evening will feature readings by a line-up of literary stars:

    RIVKA GALCHEN, author of Atmospheric Disturbances

    TAO LIN, author of Shoplifting from American Apparel

    DEB OLIN UNFERTH, author of Vacation

    JUSTIN TAYLOR, author of Everything Here is the Best Thing Ever

    STEPHEN ELLIOTT, The Rumpus’s own editor and author of The Adderall Diaries.

    With music by ALINA SIMONE, DIANE LOUVEL

    and, just added, JEFFREY LEWIS

    DJ: LINCOLN MICHEL

    Special Guest DJ: KHAELA MARICICH of THE BLOW

    And video art installation by MONOFONUS PRESS curated by JILL PANGALLO
