any day of the year, head to <a href="http://www.theknockoutsf.com/" target="_blank"><strong>The Knockout</strong></a> for holiday bingo and possible karaoke, or dance off your dinner with live DJs at either the <a href="http://www.makeoutroom.com/events/edisplay.php?id=5196" target="_blank"><strong>Makeout Room</strong></a> or the <a href="http://www.elbo.com/Calendar.php" target="_blank"><strong>Elbo Room</strong></a><strong>. </strong>Various locations, see links for details.  All 21+, bar hours vary, but if you&#8217;ve got stamina, you can give thanks for your favorite dives from 9am-2am.</p><p><strong>Friday 11/26: </strong>While many shoppers will be simulating homelessness by camping out for that plasma-screen-iVideo-Wii-matic something or other this Black Friday, you can do something about <em>actual</em> homelessness by supporting the <strong>Creative Housing Liberation&#8217;s &#8220;Thanks-taking&#8221; <a href="http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/11/18/18664439.php" target="_blank">Housing Harvest</a>.</strong> The civil disobedience will begin with a rally, followed by a mass march, and ending with a vacant housing takeover to protest the 36,000 vacant units in a city with a homeless population of over 6,000.  The good folks of <strong>Food Not Bombs</strong> will provide a delicious meal while you listen to live music and guest  speakers <strong>Tommi Avicolli Mecca, Gabriel Haaland, &#8220;Anna Conda&#8221; Glendon Hyde, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, </strong>and<strong> James Tracy. </strong>The rally starts at 3pm at the 16th and Mision BART station.</p><p><strong>Saturday 11/27:</strong> Miss Scarlet in the billiard room with the rope!  Experience what <em>Clue</em>&#8216;s Wadsworth, Peacock, Plum and company did for yourself at the <strong><a href="http://www.thedinnerdetective.com/california/san_francisco/show_schedule.html" target="_blank">Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show</a>.</strong> It&#8217;s pretty self explanatory, no?  Tickets $80+, 6:30pm @ 555 North Point Street.</p><p><strong>Sunday 11/28:</strong> Now that you&#8217;ve conscientiously abstained from the consumerist cluster fuck that is Black Friday, get a start on your holiday shopping the right way at <a href="http://madroneartbar.com/calendar.php#28" target="_blank"><strong>Madrone&#8217;s Craft Bar Pop-up Shop</strong></a>.  Stop by any time between 1 and 8pm for drink specials, food, and handmade wares from local artists, jewelers, and designers.  Come in after 9pm for Madrone&#8217;s <strong>Sunday Sessions</strong> &#8212;
