Robert Burke Warren has held down bass duties in rock bands, written with Rosanne Cash and for Wanda Jackson, performed the lead in the West End musical Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story, and banged away on an acoustic guitar in sweaty clubs and preschools as Uncle Rock (“Buddy Holly meets Shel Silverstein” - LA Times). His prose has appeared in Texas Music, Brooklyn Parent, the Woodstock Times, vulture.com, Paste, Chronogram and the Da Capo anthology The Show I ‘ll Never Forget.
