TUESDAY 8/28: This month’s Fiction Addiction features readings by Joan Silber (The Size of the World), Teddy Wayne (Kapitoil), David Whitehouse (Bed), and Polly Bresnick (Old Gus Eats). These readers will be projected fifty-feet high onto the exterior wall of the building across the street from the reading, as is Fiction Addiction’s wont. 2A, upstairs, 8pm, free.
WEDNESDAY 8/29: Victor LaValle (The Devil in Silver) reads, answers audience questions, and signs at BookCourt. 7pm, free.
Greenlight Bookstore’s monthly poetry salon this month features Elana Bell (Eyes, Stones) and Tyehimba Jess (Leadbelly), hosted by Angel Nafis, followed by a wine reception. 7:30 pm, free.
THURSDAY 8/30: Jay Caspian Kang (The Dead Do Not Improve), will read from and discuss his debut novel with Rivka Galchen (Atmospheric Disturbances) at McNally Jackson. 7pm, free.
