Due to a printing error, the Letter for Kids that went out last week was not from Carolyn Cohagan, as we previously said.
The Carolyn Cohagan letter will go out next time, but meanwhile, please enjoy a Letter for Kids from Elisabeth Dahl.
Elisabeth is not related to Roald, but she is also an author of delightful children’s literature. Her middle-grade novel Genie Wishes “is a story about fifth grade—highs, lows, and hamster erasers—as seen through the eyes of the class blogger, Genie.” She also writes for adults, including a hilarious piece for our Funny Women column. Elisabeth lives with her family and two dogs in Baltimore, Maryland, where she teaches writing at the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth.
