Legendary Chicago DJ Frankie Knuckles passed away in March of 2014, leaving behind a legacy as “the Godfather of house music” and a massive vinyl collection to match it. Recently announced, his library will be installed in the new Stony Island Arts Bank, developed by local artist Theaster Gates. The installation is reported to open to the public this October.
