Thursday 9/15: Catch MPR’s Kerri Miller interviewing memoirist Elizabeth Alexander about her newest release, The Light of the World (Grand Central). This event is a part of the 16th season of MPR and Star Tribune’s beloved Talking Volumes series. Fitzgerald Theatre, St. Paul. Tickets range from $15 to $50. 7 p.m.
The inaugural installment of the Bridges Reading Series takes place at Barnes and Noble (Snelling Ave, St. Paul).
