Next Letter for Kids: Cecil Castellucci

We’re sending our next Letter for Kids from our fearless Children’s Correspondence Editor Cecil Castelluci! Our last letter came from illustrator Jose Pimienta, who worked with Cecil on her latest graphic novel, Soupy Leaves Home. Now, hear from the author herself! Cecil sends a letter of hobo symbols and wants to know what symbols you can create, too.

Cecil arranges for the wonderful letters you receive as part of our Letters for Kids program. To celebrate the release of Soupy Leaves Home, when you purchase a yearly Letters for Kids subscription through August 31 we’ll send you your own copy of the book! To make sure you also receive Cecil’s letter, sign up by August 15!

Already have a subscription? Just extend or convert it to yearly and we’ll send you the book! If you are you a librarian or teacher buying for your classroom, we can postpone the start of your subscription until school reopens in the fall!
