Friday 1/26: Corporeal Voices hosts its annual Voice is a Muscle grant recipient and finalists reading. This year’s grant focused on LGBTQ Oregon writers. Readers include winner Caitlin Bagwell and finalists Jessica Mehta, Laura Stride, Mary Mandeville, Naima Karczmar, Noelle Myers, Ravyn Gerri Stanfield, and Sara Jaffe. 510 SW 3rd Ave., 6:30 p.m., free.

Saturday 1/27: Poets Kevin Craft and David Biespiel read from their latest books. Mother Foucault’s Bookshop, 7 p,., free.

Monday 1/29: Editors of Who Reads Poetry: 50 Views from Poetry Magazine Fred Sasaki and Don Share are joined in conversation by Samiya Bashir and Ed Skoog. Powell’s City of Books, 7:30 p.m., free.

Wednesday 1/31: Sandra Allen reads from her latest book on her uncle, A Kind of Mirraculas Paradise: A True Story About Schizophrenia. Powell’s City of Books, 7:30 p.m., free.

Back Fence PDX hosts another edition of the Russian Roulette, a live storytelling stage show, featuring Katie Piatt, Arthur Bradford, Jason Rouse, Elina Lim, Katie Nguyen, and Allison Mickelson. The show is hosted by B. Frayn Masters and Mindy Nettifee, and will feature music by Bobby D from XRAY. Curious Comedy Theater, 7:30 p.m., $16–22 advance, $20 door.
