Spotlight: “Jet Lag” by Morgen Eljot

As a Californian living sporadically in Finland I am constantly impressed, bemused, and perplexed by the similarities and dissimilarities between San Francisco and Helsinki. Every few months I like to consolidate my experiences into the form of a comic, semi-autobiographical and mostly true.

A painter, writer and graphic novelist, Morgen Eljot divides his time between California and Finland. Morgen has an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. His comics and stories have appeared in publications such as ZYZZYVA, Hobart, JUKED, Eclectica, the San Francisco Examiner, Palooka, The T.J.Eckleburg Review, The Rumpus, and others.
