Claire Rudy Foster is a queer, nonbinary trans person in longterm recovery. Foster is the author of short story collection Shine of the Ever, forthcoming from Interlude Press on November 5th. Their critically recognized writing appears in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Catapult, and many other journals. They live in Portland, Oregon.
