Friday 1/17: Join Atlas Obscura Society Philadelphia and mystic poet and performer Janaka Stucky for “an immersive, multidisciplinary performance involving light, scent, and sound” to introduce his new poetry collection Ascend Ascend. As part of the African American Museum’s annual MLK Weekend Celebration, they will host a reading by Kirwyn Sutherland from his new poetry collection Jump Ship. Also featuring performances and readings by Bethlehem Roberson, Ashley Davis, Airea D. Matthews, Victor Jackson, and Reynald Williams.
