Jazmina Barrera

Jazmina Barrera is an author from Mexico City whose writing has appeared in the Paris Review, El Malpensante, Words Without Borders, El País and The New York Times. Her book Linea Nigra was a finalist for the Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Autobiography Prize. The Queen of Swords, a personal portrait of Mexican Writer Elena Garro, was long-listed for the National Book Award and winner of the Cercador Prize. She is co-founder and editor of the publishing house Ediciones Antílope.
