Kristina Kasparian

Kristina Kasparian is a multicultural writer, health activist, and entrepreneur with a PhD in neurolinguistics. Her work has been published by Condé Nast, Electric Literature, HuffPost, Longreads, Roxane Gay, BUST, Newsweek, Catapult, Fodor’s, the Globe & Mail, and elsewhere. In 2025, she was awarded a top prize in Writer’s Digest’s annual competition and a Plentitudes prize for non-fiction. She was also a finalist in Roxane Gay’s essay contest and CRAFT’s Memoir Prize. You’ll often find her escaping to volcanic Mediterranean islands, improvising new recipes, or gardening on her tiny urban terrace. She is working on her debut memoir.
