Mark Wallace is a journalist, essayist, teacher, and arts administrator. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Salon, The Philadelphia Independent, and many other places. He is Executive Director of the Writers Grotto in San Francisco, and holds an MFA from Bennington College.
