Molly Olguín

Molly Olguín is a queer writer and educator based in Seattle. Her debut collection The Sea Gives Up the Dead (Red Hen Press) was selected for the Grace Paley Prize by Carmen Maria Machado, and was longlisted for the Carol Shields Prize. Her short stories have appeared in Foglifter, PRISM, River Styx, The Normal School, and elsewhere. She was a recipient of the 2025 Jack Hazard Fellowship, and was a Loft Mentor Series Fellow in 2019. She loves cats, crows, and monsters of all kinds.
