Sejal H. Patel is a San Francisco-based criminal defense attorney and writer. Her essays have appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, and various legal publications. A graduate of Northwestern Law School and Harvard Divinity School, she writes about the intersection of law and ethics in essays, her blog, and her book, entitled Seven Almonds.
