Yasmine Ameli (she/her) is a queer biracial Iranian American writer, fiber artist, and educator from Massachusetts. Her writing appears in POETRY, The Southern Review, Ploughshare; and elsewhere. Yasmine earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Virginia Tech. and she studied English and psychology at Johns Hopkins University. She currently makes art in Philadelphia and offers creative coaching to writers and artists to help them plan projects, work through creative blocks, secure funding, and revise their work.
