About Cherry, the feature film directed by Rumpus editor Stephen Elliott, will be premiering September 21 in San Francisco, Portland, and New York.
In San Francisco the movie is being shown only twice at the Castro theater on September 21 at 7:00 and 9:30pm. These are the only San Francisco screenings. The good news is the Castro theater has 1,400 seats and a giant screen and is perhaps the most beautiful movie theater in America.
In New York About Cherry is playing at the IFC Center on 6th Avenue in Manhattan.
In Portland About Cherry will premier at the Laurelhurst theater.
The movie opens October 5 at Chicago’s legendary Music Box Theater and in Columbus Ohio at the Gateway Film Center.
