Wednesday, 2/13: In his widely praised critical work, How Literature Saved My Life Dave Shields narrates lessons learned from a love for literature, finding ultimately that “nothing can assuage human loneliness. Thursday, 2/14: Celebrate V Day with Joyce Carol Oates reading at Cal’s Storytime in the Library. Free, 5-6pm.
