Jim Paillot is a dad, husband, and illustrator. Jim and his family live in Arizona with two dogs and almost any other animal that scratches on their front door. Even though almost everything in the desert either bites, pokes, or stings, they call it home. When not creating artwork for lots of fun people like Dan Gutman (My Weird School series) and Trudi Trueit (Secrets of a Lab Rat series), he is busy hiking, biking, exploring, and bothering those around him.
