Laïka

Laïka—is a 3 min animation Guillaume Blanchet created using matches & match boxes; this video was produced to celebrate the 10th birthday of a famous bar in Montreal (The Laïka). For those of you who may not know—Laïka originally was the name of the first earthling ever sent to space (a female dog). This was in Russia, back in 1957.
