His point, being, apparently that nobody can imagine a viable, functional alternative to the liberal-democratic model.
Of course, the large success of the liberal-democratic model can be seen in the fact that most everybody I know forgot to vote on Tuesday (including myself) except for those people in liberal Maine who decided to repeal the Marriage equity law and once more reinstate prejudice and bigotry into the liberal-democratic model of law.
