The surface of Mars had liquid water recently. Two things. 1. I’m not talking about the latest Doctor Who special which hasn’t aired in the US yet so why would I know anything at all about it? 2. Recently has a very special meaning when used in science reporting.

Virgin Galactic is unveiling SpaceShip Two on Monday. And believe me, if I ever win the lottery, I’m dropping the two hundred large to get on that thing.

Wired has video of the first flight by a solar-powered aircraft.

For the person who always needs to charge stuff up, an electrical outlet with USB charging ports included.
