ScholarMatch is an important new project from the folks at 826 National that matches potential donors with gifted young scholars who need help paying for college.

It is a fantastic program, and though ScholarMatch is currently limited to students in the Bay Area (donors can be from anywhere), they are hoping to expand soon. Learn about ScholarMatch, and the students who need your help, here.

Isaac Fitzgerald has been a firefighter, worked on a boat, and was once given a sword by a king, thereby accomplishing three out of five of his childhood goals. Formerly of The Rumpus and McSweeney’s and most recently the founding editor of BuzzFeed Books, Isaac is now the co-host of BuzzFeed News’ Twitter Morning Show, #AMtoDM.
