Christopher Hitchens, whose memoir Hitch-22 we handled a little roughly here, has cancer. Some religious people are being a little dickish about the whole thing. Congratulation to those people–they’ve done the impossible. They’ve made Christopher Hitchens sympathetic.
These hurt my back just looking at them.
I honestly don’t know what to make of this article. The cynic in me wants to congratulate these people for making a living, but my soul hurts a little too.
