How are you planning to spend Nikola Tesla day?
I first experienced Tesla, I’m almost ashamed to admit, in the fiction of Spider Robinson, but the fictionalized version intrigued me so much that I picked up a biography not long after, and then spent the next two months wondering why this guy wasn’t legendary. Even if all Tesla had ever done was come up with alternating current power systems, he’d deserve a place in the pantheon, but he did tons more.
